I hear you, I have two and alternate them with each pack. What a fun and forgiving quad to fly. There are some on eBay.

I just sold mine on eBay. The new version (180qx) actually flys much smoother and is more stable than the MQX and is more fun to fly in my opinion.

I just have no use for the camera. I'm crashing less and starting to instinctively pull out of scenarios that caused a crashed. What a great little trainer! I wonder if I'll ever be able to fly a helicopter that good?

I was lucky, I bought two basically brand new mqx for off ebay for $50 shipped.

If you want an mqx to fly like a 180x, you can frankenmod it with a nqx board.

I was on ebay and saw an item as spare parts. I won the bid and the spare parts was two complete MqX, two chargers, one transmitter and a battery. Yea! So now I have about 10 extra sets of blades and three charges and lots of spare parts.

How do you do that? What has to be done electronically to make it work?

All you need to do is solder nqx connectors to the mqx leads... There's a ton of info and pictures on what needs to be done here:

I have a case for carrying the MQX and transmitter as well.
