Default Weird Tail Motor Issue

So I broke my boom and had to replace it. I installed the new one and as soon as I plug in the battery and it initializes it starts to spin with no rudder input. I have no sub trim in my rudder. I have it bound to my JR 9505 with about 50 flights on the original boom and motor with no issues.

When I try to hover it just starts to piro out of control. Plugged my old tail motor back in and it dosnt work at all.

Anybody experienced this???

They sent me a new board for free and I got to keep old one! One time replacement they said. So I called up on my sr120 and got a new board for it! Elevator servo is binding but still flys. Call and complain!!!

I also called HH and they said it was the 3-1 board. They are going to send new board. Said it would be a one time deal. Makes me think there might be a issue or a flaw in some of the boards.

Thanks guys.

If the tail motor (or main for that matter) shorts while powered up the FET will fry itself...my guess is somehow this happened in your crash.

Nice of HH to replace it for you.

What was wrong with your SR120 board?
