Default No tail control..am really stumped!!

Hi all
When setting up the beastx on my 250 I can run thru all the set up but when I exit the set up and spool up I have no rudder.. I can hear the servo trying to move.if I disconnect the pushrod the tail end is free moving ok. And the pushrod is ok in the guides. And the servo moves ok by hand.. I'm using a dx8.. and set up as a new model.. I'm obviously missing something but can't see what!!
Any help would be great
Thanks in advance
Steve

A lack of rudder movement is quite common on these after you complete setup ...and its because users fail to add in tail gain to the gyro channel in their radio. If your rudder/tail blades aren't moving now - yet were during setup -this is most likely why.

If:
1: the heli spins during spoolup, your gyro compensation is backwards in the BX; gain plays a role here, too.

2: if your rudder input causes opposite/incorrect movement of the heli, reverse the rudder channel in your radio.

Assuming all else is mechanically fine, check your gain first....happens frequently.

In case you didnt know... If you change the switch (on the bottom right corner of your radios display) you can get it to have up to three different options for tail gains which helps alot in tuning. Just make sure its to a channel you aren't using. On my dx8 I set mine to I believe my aileron Dr switch which is right above the throttle hold switch.
