The model is set to add positive pitch and self level to upright.

If you are inverted at the time, you will lose a lot of height while the self leveling gets the model past knife-edge. Till that time it will accelerate towards the ground.

Which FBL unit rescue are you looking to have emulated? (BD3SX, iKon, Spirit)

Both these units have inverted rescue. The model will need to be changed to emulate these.

minicopter Diabolo - rescue_AV

Been a while since I've done one. Took about an hour to enter and test. Just followed the instructions in the now sticky .

Enjoy.

Just for clarification. The real ikon does not add pitch. It self levels extremely fast, but you have to add positive pitch yourself. Some have mixed positive pitch into their radio settings with a .2 second delay... Which should work. In any case it should never drive you into the ground. You do have to have enough room to flip the Heli, and enough time to stop the desert (assuming you're headed toward the ground to begin with). I don't think any of them will work with low level 3d stuff, there's just no time to activate in that situation.
