fwiw.. I haven't been keeping up on this thread. But I haven't flown my 250 for a few months. I originally had the tail wag, and last week I put my Quark on there after taking it of my Mini Titan (went FBL there)...

.... my wag* is totally gone. (my tail servo is a 3154).

*identified as 'my wag' because everyone's solution ultimate seems very different. :-)

Steve, glad to hear that you've cracked it, how long were you working on it?

Furry you sir are a "Wag"

Let's not gang up on Furry... everyone is entitled to their opinions

It took me about 4 months of playing around with it... I was pretty focused for the last 5 weeks working on it everyday. The problem is that I feel that I didn't really "solve" my problem... just that I found a workaround to prevent it from happening... Ideally, the gryo should not need to be set to "Analog" when you are using a digital servo.

I mean what do you say to that? "Oh cool, I gotta get one."
Yes, this is the bonus version of 250 (this is the trex 250 SEW combo) that comes with the wag out of box . My wag is so minor that it's no bother for flying. Occassional 1/4" once in a good while. It's holding pretty well to do loops, rools, FFF, FBF and comes out of fast piros dead stop. I assume you thought that my 250 tail is all over the place?

Agreed. But when guys who've been flying helis since long before the gyro era comment that the 250 tail is the most problematic they ever had to work on, well that has some thruth in it. You can be lucky to not have it, or oblivious, but it's still there. I promise that I will not bring tail wag up on this forum for a while...

Wow that's some commitment, it's a credit to you

FYI, I wasn't aiming to have a pop at Furry, just a play on words, "wag" is an old'y world word in the UK that used to mean comedian, but just isn't used any more

Hell if you can fly with a waggy tail, you can fly anything.. think of it as a learning experience. anyways.. ditch the flybar, and get a BEAST X...
FLB is the wave of the future..
