electro skaler help
hi guys,
i have just begun to assemble my Graupner Heim Electro Skaler mechanics. it has a Compact outrunner motor that is rated at 385 kV. it comes with two different pinion gears. at 28 tooth and 32 tooth. there is a secondary gear drive so the gear ratios work out to 7.5 to 1 and 6.75 to 1 respectfully. my problem is this: on a 10 S setup the calculated headspeeds will be in the 2200 rpm range. WAY TOO HIGH for scale flying. my question is this : how do i get around this ? do i use the throttle curve to slow the head down ? i think this will cause overheating issues as brushless motors are designed to run at near 100%. please shed some light. thanks, darren |
