Picked up a new to me tdr in excellent condition with reported 48 flights. VERY nice machine. Went through the heil and its in great shape. Just by condition Im assuming 48 is about right +/-.
Everything is smooth and shows no wear. What I haven't taken apart is the head and tail and assumed tail boom is assembled correctly. So Im looking to pull both apart at least to grease bearings any suggestion, dampner suggestions? Manual refers to heating grips for bearing install are they problematic to remove?

Not really problematic, just a little tight sometimes...heating the grips will almost let the bearings fall out on their own, instead of having to press them out...if you're replacing them anyway it's no big deal to pound on them a little.

Yeah, I have found that a little heat makes them real easy to R&R.
