Minimalitia1, I understand now. This is what I came up with.
Top block 0.0 mid. 56.85mm 3rd 100.60mm and they are 28mm apart.

Just installed the 3rd bearing block. Can't comment on having to drill an ESP frame, as it went into a CF frameset.

Awesome work by azheliguy. You guys need to take him up on his offer to do this mod. Not sure if he plans to sell these or just make his labor available. Either way it's an awesome mod. Pretty stupid for Align not to be offering these themselves. Almost like it was part of their evil plan to do away with the 3rd block all along.

I won't be able to test fly it for at least for a few days, but there should not be any issues. The head freespins as well as it did with the plastic lower block.

Thanks azheliguy. It is much appreciated!

azheliguy - how much to buy a template from you. I wish to add a third standard bearing block to my ESP and use the longer shaft...

Locating and drilling the holes isn't that bad. They align with the upper holes so you can use a straightedge and measure down 100.6mm from the top. Make sure they are 28mm apart. Measure diagonally to insure they are square.

Staying on center when drilling carbon is a trick because the density/hardness of the material varies with the exact location of the weave within the composite. The bit tends to wander. Use a sharp scribe to locate center and work your way up in size slowly and carefully while drilling.

Absolute perfection isn't required. If you're off a hair do some final adjustment on the holes with a small round jewelers file.

You can grind the tab off instead of cutting the slot too.

Looks like it is going to work great, I hope!
If anyone would like me to do a 3rd bearing block and/or frame drilling for them, I would be happy to do it.

Dear azheliguy
What is it called that drilling tip in your first photo? I am looking the same tip for drilling a 24mm bearing hole.
