Default Substitute Parts for Aeolus 50

I have read somewhere T-Rex 600 parts can be used as substitute AHF parts for the Aeolus 50 series heli

I'm particularly interested in the main and tail gears, can anyone confirm this please?

Thanks Allan

Yep, they are the same.
Its pretty much just the frames, bearing blocks and servo/gyro mount stuff that is different..
Everything else is just a copy/clone of the trex...

Default Yes ..

Xellas,

The main shaft of the T'600 is completely different then the one of our Aeolus.

Where's the difference ? The main difference is the dimensioning in the bottom section of the main shaft..

BTW: Thousands of T600 Align fanboys ww wondered about their main shaft's play. It's not the bearings, it's Align engineers never ever heard about the play/ tolerance a shaft should have, considering ID-tolerances of the main-shaft bearings are very small

The upper geometry as length and hole-position is slightly different too, but the main incompatibility is the bottom section.

Is an Aeolus a copy of a T600 ? Nope, as the parts compatible have being combinded to the one and only modular bird existing, additionally improving many important details ..

If you're a beginner into nitro, there's no bigger bargain than a T600 combo. First crash exceeding USD 150.- in spares, buy an Aeolus 50 GF kit and make use of the combo components .. you can't beat price-performance of this proceeding

Best Regards,
Oliver

P.S: Hate or like, Align prooved itself as pretty arrogant, as they seem pretty reluctant to improve details and quality, instead they prefer to buy ever more famous pilots and to come up with *new and so-called-enhanced* models starting to p**** every dealer, as he has to add more spares to the existing ones? The only ALIGN I would buy in the future sucks, as a vacuum cleaner is supposed to do for dust
