Default Is new Gens Ace battery fits goblin 700 competition

Dear All
Just received new gens ace 5000 mah 6S packs for my goblin 700 competition. I observed that new batteries are about one inch longer in size than normal 12S pack i.e overall size of two batteries is 12 inches. Just wondering if they fit in the battery tray of the heli easily or not. I yet have to receive the heli kit, therefore cannot check myself. A kind help will be appreciated.

thanks

Your good. My gens ace 12s sticks are actually 12.5 inches and the two 7s packs for my 770 comp are 12 inches combined.

I use the Gens Ace 5,500 mAh but could not use the small carbon fibre plate that shields the batteries from the motor pulley.

dont' need it with gens ace.. they got the metal plates on two sides.. make sure one of them is up and you are ready to go.

It's time for me to get new batts for my 700, and would have gone with the Gens Ace 5300mah but they're not in stock.

I'm considering the PULSE LIPO 5500mAh 22.2V 45C - does anyone use these, or can anyone confirm that they would fit?

That is considerably lighter - what flight times do you get?

I'm a sport flier, so no stick banging, and get about 6.5 mins going down to 25 - 30% remaining.

Ok I've seen you on here for a long time, and did not want to call you out. But I'm thinking, what.. How funny.
