Replacing front gear Torque tube?
OK, I finaly got the bearing off front gear on the troque tube (the one that goes in the tube/tail assembly). i had to cut it out. How do I get it on the new gear without destroying it? It is very tight....

Put both bearings into the tails case and close the 2 halves.
Now the bearings will stay put. Get the mushroom gear and an old main shaft and you shuold be able to push the gear into the bearings. Make sure you have the gear lined up nice and straight and it should go together fairly easily. Do the same for removing the gear form the bearings, leave the gear and bearings in the tail case and tap the gear out with an old main shaft. Mick
