For the price, I think 100x is a better value. Msrx got more plastic parts so it feels more like a toy. 100x is a huge improvement over the 100s. If you were comparing to 100s, then get msrx. But comparing it to 100x, I would get 100x. Don't get me wrong, msrx is a great little heli. You really can't go wrong with either one. Some shops sell the 100x with an extra battery. So you get 3 batteries in the kit.
Let the fun begin!

I have an 100x and I've been happy (aside from my initial lack of flight skills). I just went thru 2 batteries prior to this post and i had a blast. I now have 5 stock batteries so after ample cool down times, I always have a battery ready to fly.
I enjoy this heli so much, I have one I'm keeping pseudo "stock" and another I'm building with all the upgrade parts and some custom mod parts.

Its my first heli into the hobby and I really enjoy it.

MSRX flies better than the 100 does in my opinion.

Isn't the MSRX a flybar-less heli? I have yet to try one, but are they alittle more difficult than a flybar style heli?

One downfall of the Align is the lack of 3rd party or non-stock parts. I plan on making atleast a handfull of my custom tail booms for the Trex, but upgrade options are few and far betwee thus-far
