Buying (more) lipo's and a charger seems like the first step to me mate

If you would like to use an Align 600 motor you have to mod the bottom blate a bit if I recall correctly. It's huge but you can make it fit. It has been done and it's very powerful.

I am using 2 4S batteries in my 500.

I have
Thunder Power Prolites 2100
Flight Power Evolites 2100
Outrage X25 2200

For an ESC I am using a Jazz 55-10-32 and a sport BEC for the electronics.

ATM I am using a medusa 36-50-1300V2 and am getting 6 minutes of flight and putting back about 1400mAh.

I have a Neu 1706/1.5Y on order and hopefully it will be here next week.

I fly at about 2800 Headspeed and the heli is absolutely bogless!!

It will be interesting to see what happens when the Neu goes in as it will be about 100grams lighter than the Medusa with its heatsink, ATM my 500 weighs about 1900g using the Outrage packs, and they weigh about 240 grams each! With the prolites the heli does feel lighter in the air but they are lacking a bit in punch. I am thinking that I will get longer flight times (maybe 7 minutes) with the new upcoming setup. On paper I should also be gaining a goodly amount of power

Mick
