Default vbar pitch setup g500?

Hi all
ive seen some videos of people setting up their helis and want to know which is correct.

Some people do it with the heli on the skids and some people tilt the heli back so that the mainshaft if straight.

The goblin 500 does lean abit forward.

What would be the correct way to do it?

Many thanks

If the blades are parallel to the boom, pitch will always be the same no matter how the lei sits. It changes when the blades are perpendicular as the pitch of the blades is dependent on the orientation of the heli. If you do it the first way I described and you will always be correct.....Ron

The thing that im not sure about is that im setting the heli up on my table and i reset ny pitch gague on the table.
If the heli is tilting forward slighlty would this not effect the 0 pitch reading?

It's best to zero the pitch gauge on a surface on the helicopter that is perpendicular to the main shaft, like the top of the motor.

If you're setting the min and max pitch with the blades parallel to the boom like Bert shows in the video, it won't matter if the heli is leaning forward or backward slightly since you are measuring transverse to that.
