Don't worry bro, we've all been there. Me included. I have to say though, at least you've got helis in flyable condition, with where I'm at currently I'm considering getting out of the hobby (whole 'nother story in itself)
You should be able to sell those packs to get some money back.

Well, 500 needs new battery and FBL unit ($150-$175), 130X board is toast (problem child I was trying to get rid of), BL mCP X's needs landing gear stuff from Rakon Heli, Nano CP X & QX need various maintenance parts/motors, blah blah blah. To top it all off, I spent about $140 in parts and a DX4C radio for my Traxxas Revo that proceeded to blow the top half of the crankcase off the rest of the block as I was testing it after the radio install....
Guess I shouldn't complain too much, but it's just really frustrating when you need to spend about $250 total in parts when you have no money and no job to earn some...
/Endrant
Anyway, you got 3S packs from your other 450's? If you switch the 400 over to Deans you could use them.

No, I literally bought 3 2200 2s batteries to use on all three of my helis. Those were my 16th birthday presents, so basically I got nothing for my birthday. So fun right? I just don't understand why I didn't read that ANY WHERE. I read a lot. And didn't see anything about that anywhere. So my parents spent money on 3 batteries that I can't even use. And now I suppose if I tried to sell them, no one would need them, so I'm stuck with a giant pile of garbage in a sense. I'm one to get frustrated very easily. So when things pop up, it makes me mad. I love the little flying I have done on micros. I really want to get into 3d. Just this hobby, really sets me over the top sometimes.

Well, I'd say try to sell them anyway, maybe explain to the parents and they might help you out.

Good thing is, you figured out the problem. 2S just isn't enough voltage for the system.

Does the blade 400 still have the factory blue connector on it?

If it does, I might be able to help you out with your birthday presents.
If you can cover the shipping from St. Louis, I'll send you three 3S 2200 packs that will work perfectly on the 400.

Let me know and I can ship them out in a couple of days.

They're on the way, and just in time for the nice polar vortex experience...

Have fun with the new hobby!

Hopefully the batteries arrived today, and you're able to work out a charger for them.

Best of luck!

No... I dont know what's wrong with it now but its intensely wobbling left to right upon start up and does it even after spooled up. When I went to look at it, the whole blade grip came off. I was discouraged after that and took some time away from them, since both of my helis have problems now.
