I have the chance to setup a friend of mine G500

I am very impress how this little guy flies, I still need to tune the Ikon a bit better.

There is mine!

Talon 90
18t
2485rpm is max I can get with quantum 4120 1200kv. Fly good at that rpm anyway.
I can get 5:30 at rpm on 4000mah pack

Choopi, not sure what rpm you want to achieve, here is my buddies 500 at 2650 with the stock 18t and same motor as you. As you can see the Talon is governing just fine. You need to set the rpm's in the castle software to what you want. If it gives you a warning saying it can't govern properly click on the warning and it will give you a percentage as to where it will be. Example is on my friends at 2650 it says it will need 101.1% throttle. That relates to how much throttle would be needed to maintain 2650 head speed when your battery is dead. Of course your not going to fly until the pack is dead. You are safe inputing whatever head speed you want all the way up to 107% and still have it govern properly according to Bert himself. Myself and my friend have successfully tested up to 105%.

Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised.
