MKS 9767 servos on a 500L... yes please
So I went ahead and did it.... was it necessarily... probably not... but is it awesome ---- hell yeah! plus these servos can go on a Goblin 500 Sport if I wanted to get that also the tail servo I have too... The tail I put on the BK 7005 tail servo with the mini size cover....
Anyways, the servos are running at 8 volts because CC BEC doesn't have 8.4v for an option.... can run them at 8.5 but oh well.. So the spline for the MKS are 25T.... the Align horns are also 25T... but for some reason I have no idea the horn would not go on the splines at all... MKS told me to use the screw to assists in getting the horns on, they said that the splines are machine a little wider to provide better grip. But I didn't do that because afraid I wont be able to get them off. I just used the horns that came with the servos... and they worked fine... used the same ball links.... Just the linkages between the servo and swash plate you have to shorten... the MKS servos centers are about 2mm's higher than the Align 515m... The elevator servo ball link you have to get a shorter one because the stock one would push out the linkage to much and won't be parallel to the main shaft.
