Default My Head wobbles?

Hey guys,

I have a problem! In flight when i 'flick' my aileron quick left or right and back to center my head wobbles for about 4 seconds and then settle down and spins perfectly again. My bird is perfectly balanced ( head, blades, flybar/paddles), trueblood dampeners, new main shaft, new spindle, pretty much a new Sa plastic head.

Any suggestions?

If by "flick" you mean letting the stick bounce back to center on its own, then the wobble is caused by the stick itself being bounced back and forth by the springs that pull it back to center.

If you are using your fingers to move and return the stick to center and getting a wobble, I'd bench test your servos before flying again. Make sure none of them are jittering.

It's the trueblood dampeners you're running. They make the head really tight which causes the wobbling effect. There's no point to use them unless you are doing 3d at a high headspeed.

Ah, yes, let me clarify, i move the stick to center position. My servos are working 100%. It looks more like a mechanical wobble not electronic.

Yes it's the trueblood ones. But the OEM dampeners are only good for about 10-15 flights.

So Truebloods cause wobbling by being tighter?

My head wobbles....

Maybe you should cut down on caffeine, or wear one of those whiplash neck braces...

Exactly. The only way to get rid of it is if you bump up the headspeed.

I run an 11T on a 430L Align motor on a 450XL. As it is i only get about 5mins of flight time to drain my lipos to 20%. Higher head speed = more current drain? SO i'll be in the 4mins flight time span?

Is that the average for a 2200mah... ?

seems way to low on the headspseed for such a hard dampener. when you wash off headspeed with a collective input it will cause a wobble for sure. I run 13tooth on the 430 xl motor, fly for 5 mins with alot of power drawing moves and put back 1500mah . so no your power consumption does not sound good. Check for power train drag.
