I have a Blade 300X with a 3GX in it. It crashed a few months ago and I'm just not getting around to fixing it. I decided to put a new tail servo (Spektrum H3060) on it. I was working on setting up the 3GX for the new servo and when I plugged it in, the servo just started going back and forth really quickly. I tried lowering the gain and changing some other things but it doesn't have much effect.

Maybe my 3GX is smoked?

I always noticed a hard crash could rattle the old 3GX brain a bit. Whenever it acted funny, I'd reset the pots to 12 o clock and reflash the firmware.

You might also try to reset your model data in your TX and start all over again. Trust me, it makes a huge difference. In fact resetting the TX model data is probably the problem.
