Default T-rex 450se V2

Alright, as most of the stories go: I got into the hobby and realized that it was out of my skill level and can not afford to repair the helicopter as I learn to fly. I bought the 450 used from the LHS and bound it to my dx7. I enjoy flying but can not dedicate the time necessary to succeed in this wonderful sport. I think ill stick to my fixed wing flying for now.

This is a Trex 450se V2.
Gy401 gyro
Futaba S9257 tail servo
un-known main servos
Ar6200 Spektrum receiver
Gorilla gear main gear
Align carbon fiber main rotor blades
Align motor and speed controller
1800mah Hyperion Litestorm VX battery

any other questions feel free to ask.

I am asking $350USD o.b.o. plus shipping
Kyle

Is my price too high? Is there not a market for the Trex 450 any more? I need to sell this. Make some offers.

Is it possible to read what the main servos are? What colors are the wires? It appears the nose has some kind of mod... to hold the battery tray and connect it to the lower plate? A clear pic of the head and tail would help. THanks.

Sale did not go through, it was a bogus offer. I will do $300 shipped to any of the 48 continental States. Any other location will have to be discussed.

As Sorewest was asking about, can you offer some information about the battery holder? I've been looking at getting a blade, but If I can find a radio, I'd be interested.. Thanks..//

The battery holder is something I built out of thin fiberglass sheet and painted black. I am a structural engineer and thought that this would reduce the possibility of having the battery damaged on an impact. The battery mount can be removed and the old battery plate can be installed. The side frame screws hold the battery mount that I fabricated in place. The rotor head is all aluminum as is the tail rotor head..

i like your battery tray mod. looks like it supports the b attery quiet well. i know my factory carbon tray flexes like a beast and will sometimes cause my battery straps to come undone...

anyways ab your servos they look like hitec's to me. probly HS65HB's or HS65MG's.

Very cool mod, your abilities are very valuable in this industry improving designs and possibly even making new ones, I think you should stick at it if you can.

The servos are Hitec 65's, I can't say which ones as I cannot see through the cases. Perhaps open one and check what material the gears are. White plastic, nylon, Black plastic-like material, carbonite and silver is metal, which is the most popular.

Good luck with the sale!

make an offer on the tray. It seems that some are worried about the tray as others appreciate the design. $280 shipped for the Heli.
