Default Flybarless on a budget?

I love flying my mcpx. I love the flybarless setup so much that I was thinking about switching one of my 450s over to flybarless. What setup can I get on a budget? The heli I would be converting is all Align and Tarot. Align motor/esc, GP780, skids, and tail boom. Tarot head, tail, frame, and cano. I was looking at either the Tarot flybarless controller, HK controller (which I think is about the same as the Tarot), or the CopterX. For the head I was thinking about going with the Tarot upgrade. Which wide chord blades could I get that wouldn't cost me $50. I fly Pro3D blades right now (can't beat the price). Thanks guys.

What about hobbymate FBL unit? I heard it is a clone of the beastx, any good? With the DFC head total is about $100 or a few bucks more.

DFC is Aligns "Low Profile" Flybar less head system.
I am converting my 450 Pro to this.

See post 13 and on.

The part number is HT45162T for a complete head conversion
Then you'll need some kind of brain.
BeastX, V-bar, 3GX. ZYX...

A couple more questions. Again, do I need wide blades, or can I use regular blades? If I get either the Align or Tarot DFC conversion kits, do I need anything else? Can I use the swash from my Tarot sport head? Thanks guys.

use your regular FB blades, works fine

the dfc head is $$$ and luxuary, and I dont think you will be able to tell the difference, when you fly.

I dont run DFC on my 450s, or 500, I do run it on the 700 though. Ideally you need a dedicated $$$ swash for the DFC, so... just get the regular cheap clone tarot head, non DFC.

the hobbymate is both more expensive, and unproven than the tarot XYZ

tarot head and a zyx-s gyro or the hobbymate fbl (60.00) beast-x clone

ZYX-S can use a sat and no receiver for a 450(ONLY) the hobbymate is a v1 beast-x clone and you will need a receiver for that unit

I believe many FBL systems can use analog servos. ZYX can, as an example. But I've heard that the analogs don't perform as well for FBL as digital. They don't center as well, apparently, and there are other factors as well, I think. I believe analogs also don't update as frequently (70 Hz vs, say, 250 Hz for digital).

i got the zyx s and tarot non dfc head. So can i use the satt from my spektrum rx and just run the servos directly to the gyro? Why only on a 450?

Can someone please explain how to use my Tarot ZYX-S with my Spektrum sattelite? Do I need the receiver still, or the sattelite? I know I need the cable for the spektrum sattelite.
