To all my heli friends. You really need to consider this fun fly. We have enough room to hold several IRCHAs. We are going to have two flight lines. One side will be 3D airplanes, and the other side will be all helicopters. We will start off with six flight stations, but I can see us expand easy as the day goes on. We can probably have up to 15 flight stations.

We will also have an area of the property that has lots of trees for some spectacular FPV flying.

The town of Rockdale is going to help fund this event, and the property is just out of this world. The town is supper friendly and are excited to have us. They have several hotels. We will give you an update soon on all the hotels there. The fling field is only five minutes away from Rockdale.

The property has an Ice House, and a Steak House with lots of LIVE music. This place is just across the street from the field, and is a blast to hang out.

The property also supports 50 full hook-ups for RV close to the flying field, water, sewer, Electric, WIFI, and they are going to only charge $10 for the full weekend, and if you want to go further into the property, there is an additional 20 RV hookups near the river.

We have plans to bring out some really big generators, and light towers. We will also have a big tent for a place where everyone can hang out. If you can, still bring your popup tents, and generators.

There is a group of use that enjoy 3D Airplanes, Helicopters, and FPV flying, that just wants a place where we can all get together and have fun.

We have a list of Pro-Pilots that are entrusted, so we will let you all know once they have confirmed.

Landing Fee is $20.

This is an AMA sanctioned event.

I'll be there Joe! This place is so beautiful and huge! We take all our family pictures there. Literally hundred and hundred of acres. Good burgers the fries are incredible and they are known for having good live local bands. My sister and brother in law know the owners well and they are really great people, both 1:1 aviators.

Will be well worth the getaway!

Default Reserving RV Spots

Please Contact Doug Knelle "knelle@swbell.net". He is taking care of reservations for the RV spots. He need your name, arrival and departure date. The $10.00 "total" fee can be paid when you register and check in at the event. There should be plenty of spots however many people are traveling a long way and we want to make sure you have a spot reserved if you desire.
Please spread the word!

Pulse Batterie is coming down with some goodies. They we be here to enjoy flying on both flight lines.
There is a lot of energy behind this event. Unlike other events where there is only one or two coordinators, we have a big group of guys coordinating this event. The first year is going to be big. Do not miss this event.

This is our first event, so we do not know, but we do have 70 pilots pre-registered right now. I have CD the Austin Heli Fest and Multi Fest for the past several years, and I can usually triple that number the week before the event. We are also three weeks away, and a large portion of pre-registrations happen one week before the event. If the math is right, we could have close to, or over 200 pilots.

This event is going to be huge. One year we hope to make this the Joe Nall for Texas.

Another benchmark. At the Austin Heli Fest I get around five - ten RVs coming to the event of 100 pilots. We already have 35 RV spots reserved.

85 pilots are pre-registered. This is so exciting. The event can not get here soon enough. Remember to pre-register today to guaranty a shirt. We will leave pre-registration open till the end of next week.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.
