I've read about this but can't find any specifics. The tail case is a bit too expensive to experiment with and usually when I trial and error stuff, it takes me 2 or 3 tries to get it right.

Speaking of gears and tail shafts, etc., does anybody know where to get or what to use to replace the 2x3.5x1 washer/spacer on the rear shaft? Mine was lost when the shaft snapped and I don't even see a Gaui part number for it.

Thanks,
-- Elisabeth

Thanks, Mr. Whippo!

Geez, you'd think with the stash of parts I have, I should be able to find one of these things.

i dont put that washer on my tail shaft anymore, i set my end points on my tail and make sure the pitch slider isnt even close to hitting . i think thats what that washer is supposed to do.

i pin my stock pile to the wall , kind of like at the hobby shop, before i did that i had them in a box and i always ended up ordering parts i already had

+1. Washer is pointless. Outside of the first couple flights, I've never had it on.

thanks again hsc, your parts fixed the issue enough on my bird that i fly it with confidence now.
Fusion
Can you post or pm some pics of this setup? Sounds pretty functional. Got an X2 this winter, but haven't been able to fly it yet. I am fond of good functional mods that cure problems.
Thanks
Matt
