Don't use the lock nuts. Read the updated instruction on their web site on how to secure the tail hub.
http://www.elyq.com/pdf/vision50/tip1.pdf As for the thrust bearing not turning, it is because the tail hub was not machined to the correct size. I end up to to remove about 0.25mm of material where the main radial bear seat to allow more room for the thrust bearing to move free. I did this on a lathe, but if you don't have access to a lathe, you may try to find a radial bearing that is 0.25mm thinner to resolve this problem. B |

i started in on mine last night so what i did was to sand down the back of both the out and inner thrust bearings tell i could get the nut fully tightened as there does not seem to be enough threads in the nylon part of the nut to bank on. i am also going to go see how a Raptor tail feels today. i am not use to this much slop so i want to see if the Raptor is the same then so be it. if not i want to see if i can just bolt on the Raptor hub out to the grips.

I still want to put the Raptor metal slide and arms, too many stories about the tail coming apart in the air.
