Default Having a "Red Light" problem on ESC

On my Blade CP Pro I am getting a red light at about 3/4 throttle. I noticed this problem when using the 3 in 1. I have now upgraded to the direct drive tail, added a 110 gyro, and switched to the 2 in 1 unit.
When I plug in the heli I get the usual blinking light that is green and then it initializes. The gyro initializes and all is well. However, when I advance the throttle to just above half way, right where you expect the heli to start to hover the green light turns red.

I am using my DX6i radio on this heli.
My throttle curve is 0-42-60-80-100. It is at the 80% mark when the red light comes on.
What does the red light mean? is it too much input or ..........?

I tried a search for this but I couldn't find what I need.

If more info is needed to try to help me figure this out, let me know whatcha need.
Thanks in advance.

I believe the red light means that the current draw is being maxed out. I have seen it when flying too long and running the battery very low. Have you tried a different battery? That might help.

It is normal for the LED to turn red at about 3/4 throttle. Does anyone read user guides anymore? D'oh!

From front to back. Not a single solitary thing is mentioned about the red light coming on at 3/4 throttle.

I always thought the red light means full throttle 100%....

You're saying you're only half stick.

I'm not sure if the 2in1 works this way but on one my ESC's.. you can plug it in at 100% stick, it will beep once, then bring the stick all the way down and it will beep beep, initialize. This process sets the hi/lo throttle endpoints from your TX/RX. Might be worth a shot.

Like I said earlier, the only time I have seen the red light on during flight is when a battery is run down, and doesn't have enough power and you have to give it more throttle. It is usually near full throttle, but can come on at a slight lower point.

Thanks guys. I finally got this figured out. It was an end point issue.
Again, thanks for your replies.
