It will work with your Dx61 but you will not have access to channel 7. You could not use Aux 2 but every other channel will work as normal. If you ever updated to a 7 channel or higher radio then you could use Aux 2. On an electric Heli you dont need Aux 2. On a nitro the extra channel can be used to have a radio selectable governor.
