Default Vbar 34 pumps on swash

Help I'm stuck !!

I've bought a 2nd hand full size Vbar but it was unused and sealed in the box v5.2 express.

Connected to a futaba R617 RX and all seems well.

During setup I was adding sub trim to bring the display values to zero. It seemed to be quite a long way off on pitch value but got it trimmed to zero.

I then clicked set centres, the Vbar went into initialisation then jumped the swash 34 times. Now it does this on every boot.

In the log it says ambiguous value on elevator but no other errors.

Is this a sensor gone down or something to do with a large amount of sub trim - even though vbar sees the channels as zero.

The RX wont fix that, that's the TX gimble calibration and the elev is way off. Maybe time for a TX tunup?

Is the sensor mounted to a solid surface/doesnt get moved at all during boot up?
What power supply, Lipo/BEC/Nicad pack?

Can't be that, the servo monitor shows zero at centre.

Just did some more experimenting.

I found that no matter what the subtrim was set at the problem still shows.

BUT only when the unit has been on a few minutes. At start (after its been off for 10 mins) it initialises fine. If I turn off then back on - even with a minute wait in between - I get the swash pumps back.

Must be a faulty sensor.

There is several things that causing 34 jumps.
If you have Pro, download the event log first, it will tell more.
If you have express email vstabi@mikado-heli.de (your in UK, correct?) they can enable service stuff to make sure what the cause is.
