Default Sims and Tx's

Hi all,

Can you use the setups for computerized TXs on the Phoenix sim for easier control of the helis? Looking at a Dx6i to go with it.

Thanks,
Darcy

was this really necessary to post in two forums?

with the dx6 you make a "sim" model, set your throttle curves and your done

expo is controlled and adjusted in phoenix for each model

You can certainly use the settings on your DX6i with a simulator, such as Phoenix, however, as Nick mentioned, most people create a single basic default (1 servo) setup on their transmitter for all simming and use just that one Tx model when connected to the simulator. They then do all the fine tuning inside Phoenix. Each heli model in Phoenix can store custom settings.

However, if you're only going to ever fly a single model in Phoenix that matches some real life heli that you have, then perhaps you do want to set up your Tx to be as close as possible to 'real life'. Typically though, I think most people find it easier overall to do the tuning inside the Phoenix heli model.
