Default Alternative Landing skid for WalkeraV400D02

The landing skid on the V400D02 is crap... does anyone know of a good replacement? I want one that is durable and easy to install.

Have you bought anything from Rtf Heli before? Is it reliable? Cause I have looked at those skids before I just wasn't sure if they had good customer service.

I've purchased a few spare parts from them and have been very please so far. Quick shipping and have not had the need to return anything. One thing I've been waiting to get from them though is the metal tail boom support. Been out of stock for while, but after reaching out to them they say due to the Chinese new year and all..should be good soon. I've yet to get the skids myself, but someday maybe.

Default Skid

I guess I'm going to keep gluing my skid back together for now. I was worried about the mounting of the skid. They sell and adapter piece with it and its supposed to make the landing gear stronger if you get it. I don't know how true that is but it sounds like a good idea to me.

After smashing the stock skid, I got the super skid that these guys offer, seems much stronger. I got the adapter they offer, but found I didn't really need it, so didn't use it. I placed several orders with rtf-heli and they are very quick and reliable.

I agree. Been wanting to put 500 skids on mine. Using 450s now. Bright colors help. Just have to mod some holes and that's it. I prefer the sharp angle ones with set screws for the horizontal skid portion. Never tried a solid plastic set.
