Wow. Second flight on mine few ago. Holy cow batman.
I can't understand why you don't hear more swooning about this thing. Simply incredible. I'm not a great flyer, but still can appreciate a nice heli. I can't explain this thing. It's unreal in the air from looks to sound to handling that's unbelievable.

I have a Diabolo, many Goblins, 1 Compass and many Logos so I've had/have nice helis, but this is on another level.

On my maiden Friday I was way too nervous and it was cold and windy as hell to enjoy it much. Today in the sun with 50s I just flew and never worried. I just had fun. No daunting crashing thoughts. My fears all melted away. It was ridiculously confidence inspiring.

16 mins on my 12s 4500 mah packs. Now that's fun. Even at 1300 it's a rocket and doesn't get sluggish and mushy.

And the battery tray has got to be the slickest, easiest system I've ever used.

I found (for me anyway) that 1300 was a good headspeed target on the TDR1 as well. When someone at the club tachoed it I was actually running at 1260 and that headspeed I really don't have to alter my flying style (and the TDR1 is heavier :-o )

16 mins ? What motor and blades wiith those packs

Motor is the scorpion 4035 450 kv, hobbywing 130 v4, packs are El cheapo 4500 mAh 12s floureon. Bk servos all around full size. Blades are 710 switch. Did hit 3.66 per cell. Ok by me on these cheap batts. I won't do that on my gens ace or pulse.

This was not a hard flight though. Just feeling her out on the 2nd flight.
I did an 18 min flight on my logo 690 at 1500rpm awhile back. Gets a tad boring putting around like this though. Fun to try.
On 3300 12s I can squeeze 13 min on my Diabolo 600. That's pushing the batts a tad too far.
