Koby 55 gov question...

I have the koby 55 set up in my blade 450 3d. I adjusted my end points and I'm in mode 4. With my throttle curve at a flat 90% my HS is at 2850.

I know the manual recommends a min thottle of 80% for the gov but is there a higher limit also? I know this heli should be able to spin slightly above a 3k HS. Am I ok with trying a thottle setting above 90?

The higher you go the less headroom you have for governing, sounds like you need to go the next size up on the pinion. exceeding 90% is not going to give the governor much room to work with.

Got it. So in a perfect world it would be best to be around 80% and play with your pinion size to get tune the head speed?

Yep
