Default best clone of trex 500

What is the best clone of a trex 500 available, I have seen the copter X, Flasher 500 and e Tarto 500.

Can you suggest a good clone electronics package , engine, esc, servos for the helicopter.

thanks

I hear the flasher 500 has some tail binding issues with the torque tube version and you have to replace with genuine trex 500 parts.

IMO ALL clone kits have minor and sometimes large issues that need parts swapped with genuine Trex parts. The amusing part is every clone brand is manufactured by the same company and just sold to these clone brands and rebranded. Differences between these kits are the configurations the company orders the kits in (IE material/bearing grade and configuration, color, etc).

Flasher has always offered some of the better grade of clone kits, but I've found them to be pretty expensive for a clone, though prices may have dropped since I last shopped around.

EXI and CopterX are the same thing, same grade, configurations etc. Bearing and screw quality on these kits are not the best, so do consider investing in some better screw/bearing kits during build. Otherwise, they are solid for the price.

HK is one of the lowest quality and poorest configured kits around. Honestly, avoid it entirely unless you intend swapping out a lot of parts.

Tarot is one of the best IMO. Read, seen and had nothing but solid success. Screws and bearings are pretty decent (not to say Align's is great as even theirs suck!).

All in all, you might as well buy a Trex in the long run.

As far as electronics, don't be stingy with servos and other equipment as safety is not something to risk. I'd suggest pulling up some equipment you want to buy for the model. Currently you'll only be suggested to buy the more "expensive" hardware. Additionaly as a second tip, avoid believing any reviews you may stumble across on sites like Hobbyking on these to-good-to-be-true deals as majority of the reviews are bogus to just earn savings.
