There was one of those gyros on mine when I took it down to look at it a few years ago.

I know what you mean, the motor in the gyro had to spin flywheels, whining while it was winding up, all the time consuming your batteries. The ones that were really ugly were the ones that were not "stick preferential", like the Kavan. You would try to yaw the machine and end up fighting the gyro to do it.

Most of the time I flew without one because it was less trouble.

Ah, the "good" old days!

People don't know how good they have it, now!

Thanks I run KBDD paddles and tails on almost all my birds past, present, and future.
I love the way they look when they spool up and love the Performance

crmodels,

At this point, I feel compelled to right a strong letter of complaint to RC Aerodyne.

I noticed, from the photographs, that your machine appears to have come with a very nice young lady (shone holding it for the camera).

Although my kit was complete, there was no nice young lady included (and I did search the box).

On reflection, I suspect that this is actually better for my well-being, as I am doubtful that my wife would have approved...

Very nice video, but you really should upgrade those Tail Blades and Paddles ( )

"I got nervous when I read the first sentence like what...."

Sorry about that.

If I had had a reason to complain, I would have done so privately.

I have no reason to complain, at all (other than the aforementioned request that you upgrade your Paddles and Tail Blades).

I had just got done with the airframe and asked her to hold it for a few quick pics
Here are a few more and a funny once of my niece holding it.

P.S. What paddles and tail blades to do recommend?
Never bought KBDD's for a 600 size bird before.

EE Paddles and 96mm EE Tail Blades.

My Trex 600E, which is somewhat similar, when it was equipped with a Flybar, had the EE Paddles (same as the Tony Whiteside Extreme Edition Paddles, but available in colors other than the Lime Green). It really flew nice with those paddles. These Paddles are very smooth around center, but quick when you hammer the cyclic.

I think I had the Orange KBDD Dampers on it, at that time (the Align head and the Lime Green Dampers did not get along, but the Orange Dampers worked great). The Royal Blue ones should work well too.

My Chaos is FBL, but has KBDD Lime Green Dampers and EE Tail Blades on it.

I have been kicking around the idea of ordering one of these, but those pictures have pretty much convinced me, even if the helicopter doesn't come with the attractive young lady to hold it. I just have to wait for that income tax refund to come in some time this week.

Default Finally got around to almost finishing my 600.

Still have a few things to work out and need to buy some real batteries. Test flights were with my 2600Mah and 3300Mah Chaos 500 packs. Thing is very smooth and is going to be extremely fun to fly!

Can't wait to see what the season has to offer. Gonna be fun weekends at the field with my G-Jive, 450, 500, and 600.
