Default Blade CX won't take off

My first heli is in deep trouble. Spools up great, just doesn't go anywhere. Seems to want to go down not up.
Searched E-flite web page, no "trouble shooting" there.
Checked everything my limited knowledge will allow.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

Have you repaired anything on it?
Check the lower gears (white ones) and see if the turn the right way.
Check the plugs that go from the motors to the 5n1,
Do both blades turn?
Battery all charged up?
Is it RTF or BNF?

Is this an mCX?

Over time I have made repairs, not currently.
Will check white gears
Bird has 4 in 1 receiver, have not "played" with it ever
Both blades rotate in the correct direction
RTF
Battery fully charged

Thanks,
Mike

CX.

Several years old, have been flying it for at least 3 years. Have upgraded the swash plate, etc. Flying just fine one day in the back yard. Re-charged the battery went back out for one last flight and it decided not too.

Thanks for your assistance.

Mike

I wonder if, being three years old, either the motors or the batteries are worn out???
