Default Need up close pictures

Does anyone have access to an agusta a109 grand? I need some close up pics of 2 things. 1 the cockpit and 2 the turbine. I have a Marvelcraft a109 grand and it is absolutely lacking in both areas. It has these huge screens with nothing behind them where the turbine sits and I want to try to build a semi resembling cockpit. Any A&Ps that could take some pics for me would be great. I have checked with local airports and none have a a109 on base.

It just so happened that I was up in a Grand earlier this summer. These are the shots that I was able to take as I didn't have a chance to do a full detailed walkaround. Maybe next time I get an invite, I'll ask to get there a bit earlier so I can take some but it might be a year or two away. Hope these help.

Hey don those are exactly what i was looking for. When you google it nothing is a clear shot of whats before the turbine bell and behind it. And thanks for the cockpit not 2 goggle images were the same. The dash cowl was different in almost every one of them. Do you know of any where i could get a set pedals that are similar to the 109s?

Glad those were useful. As to the pedals, no, nothing even close. I will be scratch building some for my 30 size Jet Ranger and trust me, if there were some on the market that were close, I would be beating a path to their door. Good luck.

Don you are a god. Thanks for your advice over the last couple years. But how's your knowledge on fenstron's... I plan in building an ec135 from vario next year I think it's kit 1330. With extreme mech converted to electric

Did you use the screen material that came with your Agusta? Mine came with cheap "screen door" crap. If you have a Hobby Lobby near you, they have a roll of the nice diamond mesh screen. If you don't want to buy an entire roll, PM me your address and I'll mail you enough to do all your openings. I spray painted mine black and it looks great.

I would love to do some faux engines on mine also. A picture with the cowls open would be awesome.

Cool, thanks. I just got mine ready to fly tonight. Weather will determine maiden flight. Mechanics flew so well I don't anticipate any issues, just nerves.

Not a floor pan, just two individual floors I made real quick out of balsa. I'm going to redo them with ply as the balsa warped when I painted them. I'm not going in depth on the cockpit. Printed out my instrument panel at Office Depot. I will probably re mount the seats forward more on the new ply floors when I make them.

Looks great. Thanks for the offer. I'm just going to keep mine simple for now. I'd have to modify my front retract servo to try anything else and there is no room for a partition with the front of the 700N mechanics in there. If I ever have to take the guts out, I might fix it up a little. I know I could chop off a little of the mechanics electronics rack and relocating things.

no flight yet. Need much nicer weather than what we have now. Maybe this Sunday. Glad you like the screen. Looking forward to seeing your faux engines.
