Current draw with stock motor on stretch?
I remember seeing a 70A spec for the stock motor, but not sure whether that was cont or peak. Thinking about a HW and wondering about the 60A vs. 100A. Main benefit of the 60A is half the weight, and it can handle up to 80A for 20 secs. Has anyone done any current logging on a stretch running the stock motor, to know whether the HW60A will be enough?

It looks like the new HW80A v4 is actually a decent compromise. A little lighter than the 100A, but with the v4 features and the same mammoth 10A/25A BEC.
Still interested to know if anyone has some current logging data on the stretch though!

I am using a YGE90HV on my stretch. A HW100A V3 would be perfect for the Atom stretched too... It is cheaper than the HW80A V4 and it is a workhorse. I am using it on my 550U.

I have been using the HobbyWing 100 Amp ESC on my stretch.
I have not measured the current draw.
