Does what this guy says about operating this at the end of the video sound very arrogant as well as irresponsible, or is it just me?

This surely makes an experienced person question exatclly what thier flying lessons entail...

One thing that really sticks in my memory about doing contract software work for a L-M project is that they always seemed to know where to get hold of me, no matter where or what time.

My dad worked for Lockheed for 25 years. Technical Illustrations Department. He did exploded diagrams for the manuals for the C-130 Hercules, C-141 Starlifter, and the C5A Galaxy.
Stories I could tell you about things getting designed on the kitchen table at my house.

Impressive. It's probably not outrageously fast but I'd buy one just for the flight time. I wonder what the video feed is like. I imagine the controller would be the bulk of the cost.

I'd definitely like to see this thing and all it's components, especially the battery they are using for their claimed 40 minuets. I wonder if it's maybe just a hover in one spot time or actual true forward flight time.

Well LM is involved in the space program as well as missile programs. Besides making all kinds of planes. Remember the skunkworks? They can get their hands on very lite weight materials as well as state of the art (or better) power sources.

Yes, I understand this very well....

I lived on one of the Air Force Bases that supported the SR71when it flew. I also remember photographs on my fathers desk that was taken from the SR71 in the early 1980's. I'll just put it this way, the photographs from the SR71 was from over a country that it shouldn't have been over and the imagery on the photographs was so good you could have made out George Washington on a dollar bill. I could only wildly imagine what wonderful technology they have now.
