hi,

if you haven't figured it out yet, the file path looks like this:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\PhoenixRC\Flying sites\new flying site (whatever it's called eg.Bever)"

hope that helps,
if you are trying to create a new flying site in creator, then i can't help you there, 'cos creator crashes on my computer anytime i try to make new canopies or flying sites...

if anyone knows how to fix that i'd love to hear from yer...

Default New flying site

Hi!
Sorry for my english.... I'm french Canadian.

I take panoramic picture of my flying site in Quebec Canada and make flying site for PhoenixRc.

You can take a look in Google Map to know where is it.

New photo field from PhoenixRC:

Kambah Field, Australia

Get it by updating your PhoenixRC or download manually from their site.

Cheers!

Thanks for answering Scraggy! The only thing is, do i have to only put the .pxf file or the whole document into "flying sites"?

Thanks

It needs to be the whole folder with sub folders.

I have been adding all my flyng sites right into the Phoenix folder...

Programs/PhoenixRC/Resources/Environments/...

no problems.. I guess it depends on how you install your original setup.
and when I do updates.. the flying sites install in the same location.

There are many ways to skin a cat as they say. the advantage of this is that if you uninstall Phoenix you can retain the stuff.

Haha, well do share Otherwise most will miss your work.

You use the DDS files Creator created during export? Think much quality is lost this way.

Yes, I use the Creator to convert images because of the base images unfortunately comes from the web (ripped) and not from the pano author in high quality and I can't see relevant differencies between nvidia's dds converter and built-in directx converter. Of course I use PhotoShop to create alpha masks.
As you see for example the sky of AMA scenery contains ugly dithering but unfortunately the base images contains as well.

hi seaky,
just had a look at your site..looks really nice, i'm in the process of downloading your scenery offerings (thankyou), would also like to see your canopy schemes, but the link to that page doesn't seem to be working.. are you in the process of making this page or is there just something wrong with the link?

either way, great work and thanks a lot for adding to our phoenix enjoyment!
