They look cheap for a start which is great!

I think pinsdrup has been using them. You should ask him

No, I have bought the Zippy-H 3300 mAh 6s 20C from HobbyCity.

Due to bad weather here in Denmark, I have only flown them twice.

Are there any uppdate on either the zippy-r/h 6s 3300 and 3700 yet? Someone been using them? Do they hold the line with the 500?

1/3 of a pound heavier than 2500's... ouch.

It is a heavy battery, but it works.

For a beginner, it is cheap, gives a long flight time, and fits under the canopy without any modifications (although you must seat it low).

I used it for a while on the Trex while learning to hover and forward flight.

Now I use it in a Logo 500.

I have two sets of zippy-R 2500, I don't like them much. It doesn't give out the same power as my Outrage 2200, or my other zippy-H 3300. Maybe an extra minute of flight but its not worth it, its not worth the $25 savings over the Outrage packs.

Vic, I have 4 Zippy R 2500mah packs as well. I have about 30 cycles on them and they are very strong. Excellent value.

Too bad they are not working out for you. I plan on buying 4 more when they are back in stock. Zippy's are good to me.

I don't think Zippy-Rs are bad, they just not feeding the heli enough juice. I am really having to hold collectives with them with hard maneuvers. Once you fly the T500 with something better like a 25C rated pack the Zippy-R - 2500s just doesn't cut it for me. However, I am really happy with my Zippy-H 3300s on another heli. I might have been fine if I only ran Zippy-Rs and would not have notice the difference. If someone else have tried flying Zippy-R along with another pack like FP, TP, Align, Kong or Outrage let us know if you are not getting the same performance. My 2 set of Outrage and 2 set of Zippy-R are new about 10 cycles on both.

I have 3 sets of zippy-r 2500 and I have to say I rate them on par with some flightpower I have and would buy them anyday, they can do anything I can throw at them.
