Default Fusion first crash and a miracle just happenned

Over 60 flights with my beloved Fusion and today it went in. I was doing some inverted forward circuits and suddenly I lost the silhouette. I was able to recover and rolled it upright but my brain took over and hit throttle hold. I found it dangling on top of some tall grass and miraculously it was intact. Hovered it for a few and no visible damage. I guess the heli gods were on my side today.

Wow congrats! I had a 450 saved by tall grass. Never been so lucky with a big heli.

I was really lucky. It fell in a mini jungle, really dense vegetation. It never hit the ground; it was tangled about 18" above it. I will do a thorough inspection to make sure everything is 100%. I'm still shocked it is in one peace.

Nice one Eric. You gotta love that overgrown grass and weeds here in PR. It has saved me many times in gurabo. The runway is usually surrounded by 5-6 foot tall thick grass. There is no better feeling of doing that victory lap after knowing it could have been so much worse.

Michael, the grass was so tall that I couldn't see my buddy 20 feet away. It took us a good 30 minutes to find it. Luckily we heard the beeping of the ESC.

I wish that was me, my Fusion did 2 rolls into the end of our club strip last week, Suspect 3GX?, needed both hands to pull it out of the hole, the damage was not as bad as you would think, The normal blades, Mast, Canopy & tail boom +1 battery.
Given the hole, the frames, gears, landing gear, servos and the feather shaft are OK
