no need to unplug the gyro... If I am understanding correctly you are setting up CP2? and you are using cp to set your gyro level....

If this is the case you will plug cp2 remote on off to where you gyro sensativity used to be plugged in and you will prob use you gear switch to change it from on to off. you will always leave cp2 connected to your gyro gain and will adjust your gyro gain with the cp2 ir net programmer

no... what tx /rx are you using?
if you have aux channels there is no need to route your gyro through cp2

it should be really simple to use the gyro switch just plug cp remoter lead hwere you gyro gain used to be plugged in adjust the end point of the channel to 100 and do the qick setup in cp whne doing it you should see cp telling you when you flip the switch... be sure to assign th on direction of the switch to level flight and you should be good to go.... you can have cp less on if After you have completed setup verified it is working and decided you want to less on just lower the endpoint of the on position of the gyro switch...

The "chatter" is normal while you have the IR Net Programmer on. The default gains should be a good starting point till you get it in the air. Make sure and set your gyro gain through the IR Programmer for the way that you have it setup.
