Default Ok need help on flymentor.....same but different ???

i have a 450 clone that i setup the flymentor, (worked great)
but now i bought another 450........
BUT the only difference is, the elevator servo is in the front instead of the back

so i got my futaba all at NOR, none reversed
and i use the programmer

i get the sticks on the transmitter to go in the right direction on heli
the airlerons tilt in the right direction.
but the elevator tilts in the wrong direction, i played with it for 2 hours after install
and am going insane, its almost like you have to put pitch or elevator in negitive position....but i dont get swash mix in heli 1

so please help
i put it on a shelf so i can take a break from it

as always thanks

Default I think, but im not sure

i think you have to change connections to airlerons{ch 1 and ch 2 } .(on the flymentor, its like the swash is reversed???).....left to right and right to left, and on programmer play wit servo reverse on the pitch....but im not sure, let me know to, havent had the pleasure of a reversed swash....

Hi

I think Ivor has covered this in one of his setup guides,

Servos connections to Flymentor
If the elevator servo is rear mounted, looking at the helicopter from the rear .
The left hand servo connects to port 1 on FM,right hand servo to port 2 and elevator to port 3.
The black negative wire on the servo leads are closest to the USB port and line up with the USB sign.

If the elevator servo is front mounted,
The left servo to port 2 and right servo to port 1.

I made a word document from it. When I formatted it so that I could refer to a section I wanted, I found a couple of things that I had missed. Now just have to find time to get back to it and get the heli in the air.
