Default Stretching

In the process of rebuilding my 450x after a crash and since I have to replace my blades and tail boom anyways, I was thinking about getting the Lynx basic stretch kit with some align 360mm blades. Should only be about $10 more than what I was going to spend. Does a 450x fly better stretched? Is it that much bigger? Or should I leave it stock length?

Cost.. I don't know prices but I'm pretty sure the blade booms come in 2 packs right?

I vote for the stretch. After I stretched my 450X, there was zero way that I would ever go back, or back to a 325 on anything for that matter.

The only con is cost.

You can run a lower headspeed and get the same/better performance. You will also probably pull a few extra amps.

Is there a hidden cost I'm missing? I mean new blades are $22ish bucks, which I have to buy anyways and the stretch tail boom, belt, and linkage is $15 vs a normal tailboom (again which I already need) is about $7 for two. I don't need/want the bling. So to stretch it cost me $8. That's pretty reasonable in my book

Yep, thats about it. It isn't that much more.

We are simply stating that it does cost more money to buy the stretch parts than the non stretch parts, even if it is not that much more.

If you are crashing, that is a repetitive higher cost.
