I'm getting my 250 parts order today, including the larger 40mm tail blades, very excited loll. That's an awesome spot you've got to fly in... I have to drive an hour to have that much space. It looks like in the videos you posted that you've got it set up pretty darn close to as good as it gets. One thing I've discovered about this heli is that the tail slider end points need to be set up in your FBL as close as possible to their limits without binding. After each crash I've been setting mine up full over with the slider binding against the tail case bearing or tail hub, then backing them off just a hair. Ive found a couple of millimeters makes a BIG difference in tail performance. I forgot to max out the tail endpoints like this after one of my rebuilds, and got a new feature out of it.... automatic piro flips lolllll. When I would flip the heli over, the tail would blow out so bad that the heli did a full 360 piro. Not cool!! Its definitely a tough little guy to get set up right... but now that I've done it a few times, I can totally repair from a crash and get back set up in an hour or less. Enjoyed reading your thread, as my experience with the 250 has been almost identical.

I took the 250 out today and flew a pack through. The weather was perfect for it today. I wish I had thought about getting it out earlier in the day.
After flying my oxy for most of the day I had to put a pack through the 250. I can really tell that I need to do some tuning on this thing now. On the plus side the tail is rock solid now. Now I have to break into some new head speeds from where I'm at. There really is no high head speed setup at the moment and the low side needs to be bumped up just a little but is almost perfect and gives 4 minutes of flight with plenty of battery left over. If the weather remains calm I will be putting some flights down with it and getting it lock in. It is flying nicely though now and it was difficult going easy on the battery as I'm still breaking it in.
