Hm... it sounds like the problem which I had with the former Firmware. I guess its the "spektrum dual sat fix" which solved it. I had maybe 20 forced auto rotations and could not find the problem. Now it works fine.

There is a lot of stuff I like about the EZNOV. The size is great, software is easy to use and reliable. IMO it needs more tuning out of the box than I'm used to. I've had mine a little over a year now, and I still don't have my 250 tuned to where I want it. Either the gains are set too low for that locked in feel or I get super head shakes whenever I get some mild blade farting. I'd love to see logging as well.

I currently experiment with Brain 2 (a Standard on 300 CFX and a Micro on 180 CFX). It flies well and good out of the box. Also tail tuning on the 300 CFX was very easy.
But... I like the neuron flight feel much more. Its very direct but also stable. Feels very unfiltered. Please improve the firmware further and do something for marketing. It could be a winner but currently the potential is unused. I guess fbl market is difficult today. Not enough margin for small projects. |

Hi, I'm considering buying a Neuron. Aren't you using the governor or the unit anymore? Has anything changed about this governor issue since the last post? Thanks.

Nothing changed. But gov behaviour seems to be very dependent on the setup and the settings. On mine it works perfectly (Blade 550X, Hobbywing 100V3).

I'm pretty happy with mine, I had it on my Goblin 380 for a bit and I was able to get it tuned rock solid. The tail took a little work but I was able to get it to stop solid, I never had an issue with blow out, just I gain very high at default and some bounce back, but with some work I got it sorted out. I have it on my Goblin 700 and it's also taken a bit of tuning but if very close. I love the really fast direct feel it has so it keeps me motivated to work on it. I'm not exactly a PID tuning master either lol. I haven't used the internal gov, just Kontronik gov. I also haven't tried rescue on it either. But overall I'm enjoying it, takes a bit to get the tune nailed but for the feel it gives it seems well worth it.

I have one on an oxy 3, it took a while and was frustrating to setup but I was one of the first users I believe so the support wasn't that great and if I'm being really honest the support from the developer was non existent, 2-3 weeks to reply to an email, not active on the forum. In saying all that though the unit is great, the app seems to have been improved loads and the maestro software is a lot easier to understand now, it also has explanations for each parameter to help you through, plus preset model sizes and not forgetting it can take 2 sats and has rescue mode too......it really is a good unit now, my view is slightly tainted from my initial experience of the lack of support. All that said, I would happily put one on my g380, my pride and joy, without hesitation, that's the confidence I now have in the unit.
