Default Thinking About Switching to CGY750

I'm thinking about switching from the MSH iKON/Brain to the CGY750. I'm currently flying a Blade 300X, TREX 600N, and Synergy E7. The TREX is set up with the governor using the fan magnets and both the E-helis are set up with the HobbyWing phase sensor. My TREX just has the OS 50SX so there isn't a spot to mount a crankcase sensor.

My questions are:
1) Is the fan sensor OK to use with the CGY750?

2) CGY750's seem to be OK with phase sensors now, is there anything else that I need to do other than plug it in to CPU/Control Box for the CGY750?

3) Anything else that I need to consider when making the switch?

I can answer your first question. The magnets in the fan and it's associated Futaba sensor (the same one that is used with the GV1) work just fine with the CGY750.

One more question for the list. I'm currently using short (6") HD y-harness to add another power lead into my iKON. I typically use the throttle channel and this is to ensure my servos are getting enough power without affecting the FBL system or the receiver.

Can I do this with the CGY750 and use a y-harness to the OLED display to get enough power to the servos?

Just fine to split power across receiver and gyro buses. I do the same thing. 1.4 is simple and largely plug and play.

My regulator has two outputs. If I put one in the rc and one in the gyro do I need to cut the red wire on the sous cable?

Why? It's all just one common bus. Unless your regulator outputs are two different voltages.
