Default Clicking sound

Hi all -

I recently crashed my Goblin 700C and I now notice a clicking sound as I hand turn the motor. I took the motor off the heli to confirm that the sound was still coming from the motor...it was. Not knowing much about these motors, I decide to take it apart to investigate. When I pulled the motor apart, the top bearing fell out and I didn't think that was normal. After further inspection, it looks like I have a crack where the bearing mounts. Am I SOL here or is this normal?

Ugh.. I thought so. I don't think it was from the crash but just happen to discover it during the tear down as I went through the drivetrain.

That is a new one to me. Never seen a motor crack like that. Crash or not.

Yeah sorry for your loss. Definetly SOL.

I originally got this motor used. There definitely seemed to be allot of wear. It appears that the outer bearing was spinning and possibly over time it just cracked. IDK.. time to move to another motor.
