Default Turningy Nano-Tech batteries

I ordered a couple of new Turningy Micro-Tech batteries for my EP200. So far they look quite promising. Weigh of the pack is 54,6 g, which is 7 g less than the previous generation of 1000 mAh Turningy batteries were (please note that I have shortened the wires and replaced JST plug with a Micro Deans connector). Charge rate is 5C and discharge rate is 25C. Not bad!

Let's see how long these are going to last.

Any initial thoughts or comparisons?

I have two packs that are much lighter and putting out = power to the old style lipos from HK.

So far I have done only 5-6 flights with my Nano-Techs. I haven't tached the headspeed but the performance feels quite similar to my (relatively old) Hyperion G3 batteries. It is still too early to estimate how long these batteries are going to last. Zippy Flight Max batteries for example, started to loose their performance after 20 cycles.

My best batteries - DualSky 1000 EX 30C - provide similar kind of charging rates, a little bit higher headspeed and more linear output than Nano-Techs but they are three times more expensive as well.

How are these still flying? Also 850mAh or 1000mAh? How well does the 1000 fit under the canopy assuming you are attaching them under the battery plate on a v2?

Wow! Time is running fast. I noticed that my previous message is more than a year old .

My 1000 mAh Nanotech batteries are still flying fine after 14 months & 80-100 cycles of abuse (I fly them quite empty - usually they recharge 850-950 mAh). So far I haven't seen any significant performance drop.

How about fit? Do the 1000 mAh packs fit under the original canopy when placed under the battery plate?

They fit without any issues (depending on the size of the receiver / gyro).

1000 mAh NanoTechs are a little bit thinner than 1100 mAh Hyperions I have in this (old) picture, so one doesn't need to squeeze them in. Since then I have replaced Gyrobot 700 with a much smaller V-bar mini. Nowadays there is penty of room inisde the canopy: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=144778

Very nice wiring job! Do you shorten all if your wires? I digress, I've strayed off topic.

I am surprised that battery width is not a problem with the narrow g200 canopies.
