Arizona Interested in LHS Noobie
Hey to all you Heli Freaks I'm Alan in the phoenix metro area (55 yrs old) which makes me and old noob? I Always liked rc stuff, but back in the day it was way to expensive for a kid. I was pleased to find out how far batteries and electronics have come in the last decade, plus with puter sims, it is so easy to fall in to this trap (i mean hobby). started with a coax blade mcx2, then blade 120sr, then got Dx6, realflight sim, and blade 230s for my cp. Met, talked, and flew with several advanced and a couple of pro pilots at my local Heli bowls. Been about 6 months in to hobby now and just love it and the great people , thats how I found out about this site. Anxious to get in to a 600 or 700 class. I Love the sound of the blade whack on the big birds. Have been reading threads in LHS section. I'm mostly interested in light 3D, large smooth flights with longer flight times, 15min plus. considering Align. Also thinking about scale too. Got my AMA, going a little crazy at the amount of RC choices on the market . Thanks for having this site and letting me join in. If you happen to be in Arizona or not , feel free to pm me to talk Heli's or if you need info about my state. Happy Flying

Hi and welcome! Well here is a little something for you, hopefully can help you get a lot of information on a single place, kind of like an introduction:
https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=720316 It seems you are getting passionate about the hobby, I am also like that! I wish I could progress faster but it takes patience, planning and setting aside money to enjoy the hobby. Good luck!
