ive been flying some of these packs on my X5 and i been waiting to see them here in the us,

i was getting ready to buy them from the uk, then i saw experience rc has them in stock.

i should be getting them in a few days, ill let you guys know how it goes.

i know the pic shows jst (4amp) plugs , but we all use diffrent connectors, i use deans

ultra.

Whats so good about these packs ?? Do they offer anything more than the hyperion 1100mah 45c 6c charge packs?

Supposed to be the dogs danglies... Backed up by a fantastic warranty and reduced cost crash replacement offer.

Unfortunately the only pack in the right range is 850mah and I'd rather 1000-1100mah.

Hyperions are great batts too and I doubt you'd notice much difference if indeed any at all.

Is the only pack i run in that size that doesnt come down hot.

Ive tried a few other brands, and they died quick. Im sure they will have

1000mah version soon.

well I got the packs today, I'm getting some new hyperion vx 1100's to throw in the test lot.

it wouldn't be fair to use my older ex and vx packs here, I've beat on them so many times.

Hyperion ex pack ir, in flight i cant tell the diffrence between these and the optipower

I need to make a ec5 adapter to my deans, then ill post some data to back up my findings

But im flying the optipowers in my x2 from now on.

Since my comment earlier, i have some optipower 5000 6s packs that i've used in my 7hv, like Zee said, dogs danglies.

They are just brilliant, come down warm, have more power than i can throw at it and have a brilliant IR. That along with the 50% crash replacement and i'm sold. Well at least for my large helis.

I've 6 hyperion packs that do the job on the X2 very well so no need for swapping yet.
